I met Kevin Harrington at an event in San Francisco, where I asked him to help me clean my investor pitch.
To my surprise, he agreed.
For the next 15 minutes, he intently listened to my pitch.
He gave me million-dollar advice that day that I still carry with me.
Kevin moved from his chair and sat beside me to enact bodily gestures I should've used while presenting my pitch.
He said that a pitch deck is not just a series of numbers to share, it's a story to share, and your story must touch your prospect.
Add emotions, and pictures to your pitch, and use your body language to convey your story.
I was truly inspired by Kevin's humble nature that day.
What's the advice you received that you still carry with you?
